idvd 4 to dvd studio pro - theme help

i'm using the film projector theme that flickers and then displays images that i choose. i imported it to dvd studio pro 3 and everything is well, however, i cannot make the main menu projector display a slideshow in the projector any more. it only loads 1 picture or asset. otherwise it displays the a wavy flickering line, not my pictures. any tips?
