Hi,
I currently have the previous version of MS Office, Office X is called or something. I was wondering if it is worth it to purchase Office 2004. I am a student so it is $150 bucks for it. I do use word and excell a lot since I am a student. But is it worth the 150 bucks?

I would say no. Entourage seems to have some improved spam fighting abilities ... but the best defence against spam is to protect you primary address with your life. Powerpoint seems somewhat improved, but still not up to Keynote's standard. Excel appears unchanged. The only noticable change to Word is it's note taking ability, which I actually like but wouldn't consider worth $150.

I got it from my employer, so I'm not complaining, but I would feel like I wasted my money if I had purchased it myself.
