Hi all --

I've been using Fetch for a while but I'm at a stage where I'm uploading lots of folders to servers... Fetch doesn't seem to be able to do this. Any other suggestions?

Take your pick
Probably the most OS X - like: Transmit
Powerful: RBrowser (there's also a free version)
Probably CuteFTP is highly regarded on the windoze side; CyberDuck is free and Swiss, FTPeel looks nice and has inetersting features.

I've been using Cyberduck for quite a while when doing uploads to my webspace, and never had any problems...

Another vote for Transmit also. Was using Fetch for a while but Transmit is really intuitive and easy to use.

A Transmit question...
How can you move a file or folder to it's parent directory on the remote server?

You have to right click on it, select move and type in the path to the folder you want to move it to, such as /homepage/folder/
Not a very elegant solution at all and definitely not OS X-like.
I've never had to use this "feature" but that still doesn't mean it shouldn't be designed into the app better.

I've been trying to figure this out too. RBrowser has a column-view which makes it pretty easy to drag files from directory to another. But I like Transmit better. I usually end up using both.

forget to mention this. Transmit is AppleScript-able.
