I am just learning the ropes with Final Cut Express, and I am able to capture one long clip (basically everything on my "reel"). I understand that I could set in and out points and name clips that way.

However, I prefer just grabbing everything at once. So, my question is this. Once I have captured an entire tape, and it is sitting their in the browser as a single clip, how do I cut that clip up to make multiple clips from it? I thought I could do this by putting it in the timeline and using the razor tool, but when I cut the clip in timeline, there is still only one clip in the browser.

Any suggestions appreciated. Also, if you know of any good links for FCE tutorials, that would be great.
