I have DW MX (6.1) and I am switching to another computer [not windows ]. I was wondering If instead of re-entering all the site login, password etc for each new site (I have about 20 that I manage) is there a way where I can copy one file maybe and just replace it on the new computer? (like safari "Bookmarks.plist")
In other words, is there any easy way of transferring site info?
thanks in advance.

All the relevant files should be in ~/Library/Application Support/Macromedia/Dreamweaver MX/Configuration. You can just copy that folder over to your new computer.

Well, another problem. I forgot my password to one site. i have the login info that i can view from the Site Definition in dreamweaver, but viewing the password is "********." Is there a list somewhere that holds all the FTP info for all my sites as well? I've looked under [~/Library/Application Support/Macromedia/Dreamweaver MX/Configuration] with no success.

Just export your sites from Dreamweaver on the old machine and then import them on the new. You will be asked if you want to include the password in the export file.
