I was just using GarageBand, mucking with a rather complex piano thing I wrote, and at the end there are 6 complex lines of MIDI playing. On my rev. A DP1.8, the GarageBand window scrolls pretty slowly while this part is playing. All the notes are still played, but the scrolling is very slow. Anyway, so I'm monitoring one of my piano lines while its playing this part, and I start dragging the little blue scroll thumb on the right side of the MIDI editor (you know, the standard Apple scrollbar). Lo and behold, GarageBand starts scrolling through my song completely smoothly, as if I only had 1 line of MIDI going. If I just click and hold on this scroll thumb, GarageBand runs completely smoothly pretty much no matter what. If I let go, choppiness directly proportional the number of MIDI lines I have playing kicks in.

Creepy.

Is this only me, or can any of you report the same thing?
Be happy.
