I was wondering when is apple going to release an update for safari? I know that 1.5 (ver2.0?) will be bundled with Tiger. But will there be an update in the meantime? I heard that the 1.3 versio is FASTER than firefox.

Well, if they're seeding a Safari 1.3 Update which is being "developed for Mac OS X 10.3 Panther", then I guess that means it's being "developed for Mac OS X 10.3 Panther".

I guess you can infer from that that there will be a Safari 1.3 Update for Panther at some point in the not-so-distant future. Certainly before the Safari 2.0 that ships with Tiger. Trying to narrow down the release date further is edging towards the guesswork side of speculation
