so i am using my girlfriends powerbook to work on a word doc and all day today when i open or close a word document i get promted with this:

Did you wish Shankar on his Birthday?

NO YES

and depending ong on my click I either get :

You are heartless, and will be punished for this.

or

Thank you, I love you.


anyone see this before or have any idea what it is, or if it will corrupt my files? no normal save dialog or anything, no matter whatr i do, its all i get.

in word prefs, disable macros.

see if that helps.

It's just a harmless (yet annoying) Word macro-virus; however, simply deleting the "Normal" template will cure your problem...
