I'm not sure if there's available to watch a TV on my powerbook? Is there a way? Dont yell if this is already discussed in another thread.

THanks

Yes there is - for a powerbook you'd want a FireWire Device.

The device you want to get depends on what kind of TV you want to receive - Analogue, Digital Sat. , or Digitial Terrestrial.

ElGato.com is the most obvious solution.

El Gato's new firewire box is great. I saw one this week and it is on par with the reception and picture quality I get using my Alchemy PCI card from miglia.

For a powerbook, you'd have to settle for a box that sits outside your computer. If you have a powermac, the Alchemy TV DVR card is the way to go, but for any other computer, the El Gato firewire is great.
