I was having some trouble with my iBook, so I took it to the Apple Store. Didn't get much of a resolution on the issue, but they ended up "installing" 10.3.3 by directly imaging my HD. In the process, I gained iLife 04, apparently.
I would like to use iPhoto on my G4 (I have 2.0, I think). Can I just copy the iPhoto executable from my iBook?? I'd hate to screw up iPhoto on my desktop.
What about the other iApps, like iDVD? I have that, now, too.
Other bonuses appear to be Tony Hawk, Deimos Rising, Zinio (?), Sound Studio, Quicken 2004, and World Book 2004. I haven't actually tried these yet, they may be demos.

Yes, you can just copy the iPhoto.app directly over - I did this without any problems.

you can just copy it over, but all the .Mac integration features wont work unless you do a real install (i.e. no .Mac publishing, ordering prints/books, etc.)

Thanks! Seemed to work just fine, and was noticably faster. Sweet.
I copied over iDVD, too, and when I fired it up, it didn't recognize my external FW Pioneer 105 drive. Is there a hack for this? I thought in the new iDVD, this "just worked"?

I found the thread about the hurz/phurz thing... odd, but apparently that will work (haven't tried it yet).
Still, I thought iDVD now worked with external drives? Is this the only solution??
