Safari won't work. The app launches, but it won't load any web pages, as if I have no internet connection, but clearly I do. It works on other users on this computer, it just doesn't work on me. I've tried throwing away my Safari prefs, my safari folder in my library folder, and safari itself, and reinstalling. Still nothing. I can't think of anything else. Below is the error message I get in the console. Thats all I have to go on, and that doesn't mean a goddamn thing to me?!? Unfortunately the Safari installer has no uninstaller. So something in my Home folder must be screwing with Safari somehow, but I have no clue what it is. Oh I also went into Safari and cleared all cookies and emptied the cache. Still no luck.

Code:

Yup repaired permissions, repaired the disk, optimized my directory, even defragmented my disk (since i was already booted and running techtool). Nothing has had any effect.

1. Try creating a new account and then seeing if Safari works under the new account.

2. If it doesn't work, try re-installing Safari, http://www.apple.com/safari/download/

It's your Webkit.framework bugging out...follow the instructions/link below and report back, I'm pretty sure it'll fix your issue as well:

Sweet it worked! I'm back on safari now. And it only cost me.... all of my prefs, in failed repair attempts :-(

How come nothign else was effected, and yet supposably if you delete that webkit thing and don't have a replacement, you lose all browsing abilities?
