this is what is happening to me.

i drag and drop a picture from mail onto the desktop. get info on it and its read only.

why????

if i click the save button and save it to the desktop it is read and write.

i've tried this from multiple email addresses and on two computers (panther on both) and i get the same result.


please help.

Just a odd Mail bug, one of many. Hopefully it will be fixed in 10.3.5, or at least Tiger.
