How to change file opening preferences?

Hi all,
I've a problem with opening real media files. I have realplayer set to open .rm and .ram files as well as all the streaming real files, but I can't get the system to recognise that real should open the .rm and .ram files.
Currently, the default app is mplayer, but I can't seem to change it. I've been into real and done the reset according to the the help, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Any suggestions.

Have you tried changing the "Open with…" app in the Get Info window?

Yep, tried that. I can make it work for a single file, but not for any new files. I've tried reinstalling real, and that didn't help. Puzzled.

Get Info -> under "Open With" change it to Real -> hit the "Change All" button ??

So darn simple. Thankyou very much, I was trying to do that from within real itself, and from the open with window.

No problem. I was a little confused about this at 1st too and it seems a little counter-intuitive, since it is not available from the open with dialog window; but has to be accessed using Get Info.
