I study photography, and work digitally. Mac is the perfect platform, and I use iPhoto to organise my massive amount of pictures. Since my old PowerBook doesen't har room for all the pictures, i use "iPhoto Library Manager", and store my main library on my 20Gig iPod.
This has worked fine uintill a few days ago, when I suddenly discovered that there were no pictures in my library. I took a quick findesearch, and there were in fact no pictures at all on my iPod. How this has happened, I really don't know - I for sure did not delete them! But more importantly - how do I get these back? We're talking 200+ pictures from a project trip to france, including a D-Day exhibition... I am quite desperate - can someone help me out here?

you keep your photos on the ipod...what about a backup?
get a cheap firewire drive (or a usb drive, or a cd burner) and BACK STUFF UP.
not sure where your pics are, but hope you find them.
it is an essential act to back up!
(just a thought...no stress!)

I know, I have serveral DVDs with backup of my pictures, and I have ordered a LaCiedisk for more backup, but this time it slipped through... But since the files used to on my iPod, I recon it should be possible to recover them in some sort of way. Any suggestions?
