Good question. It's actually missing a lot of stuff added to the latest nightlies. It's probably a security release, to go along with Mozilla 1.7.2.

The nightlies are built from the trunk. This is just a branch build with some bugs from 0.9.2 ironed out, I suppose..

There are nightlies built from both the trunk and the branch. I was referring to branch builds. I should have been more specific.
I think this is a trunk build, since it lacks some of the features of recent branch builds, like live bookmarks.

just downloaded the new version and installed it - appparently still 0.91 not 0.93. any reason for this or have I just a: got the wrong one or b: not uninstalled the last one properly?

Mine reports 0.9.3 in the about box. Do you have multiple copies installed?

nope, just the one. and downloaded it from the main product page. but it still says 0.91 in the about box. strange really
