Using Virtual PC for ICU Video chat

I would Like to try using ICU software for webchatting with webcam. It is only Windows based. Would it be possible to use Virtual PC for MAC and then Use ICU? Has anyone tried this?

It couldn't hurt to try, but my gut instinct is that anything involving video on VPC is going to be outrageously slow.

Hi
In theory I guess this should work provided you have a USB cam and not FireWire. What setup do you have? Bear in mind that Virtual PC is slooooowwwww and is pretty hopeless esp. using live video like you will be doing with ICUII.
I would test it out for you but I have a FireWire cam so it won't work with Virtual PC. ICUII works fine on PC however.

I thought ICUII had a Mac version. Did something happen to it?

Cybration, the company who make ICUII abandoned Mac support a while ago and keep saying they might develope a Mac version if there is enough interest. I actually only use my PC for ICUII.
Maybe it might be worth waiting for Virtual PC 7 to ship and see what kind of support/new features it brings.
