So I just deleted the whole CS suite and reinstall it again. Well, once installed I can open files, now today the bad behaviour is here again. Photoshop does not open any file, it just shows a error message is very bad spanish by the way :-D

I deleted the adobe preferences but that does not solve it.

I have installed it onto my d2 FireWire HD and it works flawless, so what is going with my internal PowerBook hard disk?
