Can't reinstall FCP HD

I uninstalled FCP HD from my G5 today (using Apples uninstall proceedure outlined on their web site) When I attempt to reinstall, the program quits and says "access denied".

I assume this is some sort of copy protection thing, but I absolutely own this copy of FCP.

Any help is appreciated. Apple's phone help line is closed now.
