Did a search for this, found nothing. If it's a repeat, just link me to the previous thread.
I've got some audio files in a .vb format (I think that's Visual Basic, but I'm not sure). Is there a way to convert them into a usable format? Or at least open them so I could re-capture them with audio-hijack? Since I thought they might be Visual Basic files, I tried the VB project converter from the RealBasic people, but no dice.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

A Visual Basic audio file doesn't make any sense. From a search, it seems you might have a PS2 audio file. I can't help you with opening/converting it, but given that there's a utility to convert Musepack, maybe you can find something...

Yeah, that's it. They're PS2 files. I did a file extension search and it showed .vb as visual basic files ( http://filext.com/detaillist.php?ext...;Submit3=Go%21 ). Actually, what I'm trying to do is rip the commercials out of Vice City, and save them as individual audio files to play randomly between songs on my iPod. I guess I could download the PC version and try to rip the audio out of that, but since I own a legal PS2 copy (and making copies for personal use is covered under fair use), I thought I should try that first.
Anyone have any other ideas on how I could do this?

OK. Well, I've now purchased the PC version and have hit a wall there too. All the stations are saved in a .adf format. Anyone know how to convert these files? thanks.
