Good Downloading Program that resumes on reconnect

Alright guys I'm wondering if there's anything like this for Mac (my guess is yes). I'm looking for a download program (maybe a plugin) that would allow me to break my connection while downloading large files and then would continue downloading when my connection was back on. I guess I want something similar to bittorrent but would just be downloading from a single server. I know I used to use download accelerator with windows a few years ago and it supported this. However, I did some searches for downloading programs here and all I get is the kazaa type or questions about bittorrent (which I already use).

Safari in 10.3 supports resuming downloads.
there is also iGetter and some other 3rd party apps too.

Thanks for the info. I'll look at iGetter. I personally use camino, but maybe I'll give safari a go...
