I purchased GarageBand Jam Pack 1.0 and tried to make a backup copy of it using Toast 6.0.7 on a dual 1.8 G5 (rev. b) and keep getting a buffer underun error (twice now) even though I turned on buffer protection before burning; any guesses? Note: I'm using an 8x SuperDrive with 8x DVD-R media. I'd like to also make backup copies of Final Cut Pro HD and Microsoft Office- just in case, as these are expensive programs. Is there a better way for me to make a backup copy of this software? Thanks in advance.

well, if anyone cares, i tried a different brand of dvd-r (memorex, 2x i think) and it worked fine. i guess the drive just doesn't like my cheap 8x discs.
