I have just installed Office 2004 on a TiBook. The Powerbook is connected to the internet by a DSL modem connected to its ethernet port. Internet connect works normally, but if Entourage starts up before the Powerbook is connected to the internet, it tries to dialup through the internal modem. IE Safari both connect automatically correctly.

Does anyone know where the setting that tells Entourage how to connect lives? I've looked all over the place.

Once your DSL is connected and working properly, does Entourage then work/connect properly or does it still attempt to dial up?

Once the DSL connection is made, it then works properly.

I'm guessing, but it's probably looking here:

System Preferences > Network > Show: Network Port Configurations > Drag Configurations so that Built-In Ethernet is at the top of that list...

Every once in awhile my Entourage tries to dial up, even after I'm connected to a wireless network. Reboot fixes the problem.
