I can't open quite a few attachments (mostly Word and pdf). I almost never can open them from within Entourage, but I can't even open them when I save them to a documents folder on my hard drive. I usually get the following message: "Word cannot open this document. The document might be in use or might not be a valid Word document." Well, I can see that it is a Word document (sometimes even sent to me by a fellow Apple user) and I don't see how it could be open somewhere else.
