How to "Save As" in Safari or IE?

how is this done? if i see a link of a doc or mp3, how do i just do like the "right click and save as" like on IE on Windows? is it even possible?

If your mouse has two buttons (or more) you do the right click just as on Windows. If your mouse has one button you hold down the control key and press the mouse button to open the context menu. There you can select Save As or any of the other commands in the context menu. Or you can hold down the option key and click the link to download it right away without even opening the context menu first.

If it's a bunch of .mp3 files or pdf files etc. etc.

Download deep vacume. You can grab every MP3 (or whatever) off of a site that way...

You can also option-click to download the linked file.

In Safari 1.2 (I think) or better if you already have the Downloads window open you can drag the link to the Downloads window to download the linked file.
