I was not able to find this topic using MacNN's search. Anyone know how to print a "locked" PDF file? Or anyway to unlock it using Apple's Preview? This is for a file I legitimately own. Thanks for any assistance.

I don't think you can with Preview, but I know there's a shareware app on versiontracker that's supposed to do exactly what you want...

I've had some PDFs claim to be locked when opened in Preview, but then show up normally (and without authentication) in Acrobat Reader. Have you tried opening it in Acrobat?
