What?
An app or tip to let me search a predefined set of URLs (in a Safari bookmark folder) using a search engine?

Why?
I was looking for this article on why not to collaborate, I know I saw it in one of the sites in my blog folder but could not remember which and it was a couple of months ago so it’s not on the front page of the site anymore.

It would be cool and more efficient if one could search a predefined set of URLs. For example if you are looking for a PHP script and you often visit five or ten sites PHP sites then you just do a search on those sites.

If you know of an app to do this please post. If you know of a tip on how to accomplish this please post. Thanks

It does something different but not quite what I’m looking for. AcidSearch allows Safari users to use the search field and select a predefined set of search engines of sites to do a search on but not a search on multiple sites at the same time.

It seems also that you can search a site provided the site has search engine (not sure on that one). I asked the developer the same question maybe I’m missing how it works but I’ll find out.

The link for AcidSearch

Thanks for the intentions. I'm still playing with it and it's a very cool app. If I use it for the next week I will donating the developer some $$.
