Safari keeps crashing on me - so I want to use Firfox as my new browser.
Is it possible to import all my bookmarks?
When I click "Import" in Firefox a new window opens - but that`s all.
There`s nothing were I can choose from where it should import.

this has been asked countless times before....you need to get the free utility "safari bookmark exporter" - search at versiontracker.com and you'll be all set!

Yes, but it can be just an intermediary. Import Safari's bookmarks to Camino, then use Camino's bookmark export function to export to an html file, which Firefox can then import.

A shareware app called BookIt will sync all your bookmarks safari, firefox, icab, omniweb, iexplorer (and create an independent backup file). I use it all the time.

(No association other than I paid the $12 license)

I was writing a perl script to do it, when I figured how much time I was wasting. I figured $12 was worth it.
