I have made quite a few CD's of iPhoto library folders, going back to version 1.0. Since iPhoto has been upgraded numerous times since then, I can't use the CD since iPhoto informs me that it needs to upgrade my library....I understand this. Since it is stored on a CD, it can't be updated at that location, so I decided to copy the library to my hard drive and then do the upgrade. However, the picture files copy, but when it tries to copy the album folder, I get an error message indicating that it can't copy the file, perhaps because the destination does not support this type of alias. Does anyone know what this means and how to get around this? I am using an iBook g4 and burned the CD using Toast Titanium.
