is there nothing short of a shareware app that will get me a sensible .txt file from iCal? BBedit will give me everything but the edit task is tedious to say the least. I just want a file that is essentially a journal of my iCal appts. w/ time, date, etc.

Why Apple wouldn't have that as an export function is beyond me.

I'd have suggested using applescript - but iCal's AppleScriptability seems shagged. (can create new stuff - but not get info on existing stuff)

Code:
tell application "iCal" get start date of first event of calendar 1 end tell
Does that work for anyone?
