Hi,
Anyone know how to convert a swf Flash movie to Quicktime? I opened it in QT player, and it plays fines, but when I try save as or export, it only shows one picture in the whole movie.
Thanks!

If you have a fast Mac, and the movie is not too large (screen size and duration), you could try capturing it with Snapz Pro 2.
I never had good results with QuickTime and Flash directly (Flash to QT, or import Flash into QT), but I'm sure it must somehow be possible in a more elegant way.

I just did that - it worked great. However, what format should I convert it to (codec for video and sound?) to make it load fast and small, but great quality?

Good question. I've historically been fond of the Sorenson Video Pro codec, but then the new-fangled Sorenson MPEG 4 or the DiVX 5.2 Pro codecs are probably much better.

This is kind of related to the topic in disscusion.
Anyone know where I can get a flash codec of some kind for QT? My quicktime refuses to play flash files anymore. It used to but now it throws up some error message every time I try to open up a .swf, it's really irratating.

Not sure about a QT codec, by you can always get the standalone flash player Here

QuickTime only supports some older Flash formats. Files created with the latest versions won't work.
