I have quicktime pro but the option to "save as QT movie" isn't available...

I would like to put them on a cd to view this week as I travel with my PB!!

Thanks.

I think there is an optional atom you can set in the QT movie that disables the saving. The easiest method is to look at the source to where the actual file is located, and then download that with curl or something. If it's a ref movie, that complicates matters, you'd have to open it up with a text editor or something and try and figure out the path to the actual movie.

Seems like the path is clear:
http://a1408.g.akamai.net/7/1408/778...vie/movie2.mov
But it doesn't end up in the /tmp/501 location, and save is still disabled on the file.
Strange.

Oooooh....

That gives me an idea...

YEP!

OK, thanks. That was pretty damn stupid. I just opened the path to the video in a new Safari window and then drug the url into the download window...

Man, really stupid on my part...

Thanks for the help.
