Safari has really slowed down for me as of late. I get the color wheel very often now, it freezes more often, and is becoming very annoying to use, which is the exact opposite of what I had experinced up until now! I am not the only one as a couple of my friends have been experincing the same thing and one has ditched Safari and gone with firefox....

any thoughts would be helpful!

Thanks!

Nope, not really...Safari has been ticking along just fine for me!

You have any Safari extras/hacks installed by chance?

Have you searched the numerous threads on Safari? Disabling cache and Safari icons, turning off autofill, et al?

Run "Software Update" and re-apply the 9/7 Security Update v1.1...

I'd been delaying the v1.0 Security update because of some Safari effects.

Others had reported ftp problems - which are supposedly fixed with v1.1.

Has the v1.1 also fixed the Safari rendering of "bad code" sites - like BestBuy ?

Safari is often fairly slow for me but I haven't looked into it at all.
