I just purchased Maple 9.5, and had a question. I notice that when it loads, it creates a tiny blank window in the upper left corner of my screen. Is there a purpose for this window? It is minimized to the point where you can only see the red, yellow, and green buttons, and when I expand it, it shows absolutely nothing. Thanks in advance,

Maple 9.0 quits whenever you close the last open window. (As does iPhoto, but most applicatons don't do that)

Maybe that's there way to avoid quitting.... *very* elegant...

This sounds like the most probable cause, given how generally nasty their Mac port is. Not that the PC version is much better
