Hiya

I was wondering what dvd player/software to use to capture a still from whilst watching the movie.
On the PC I used powerDVD which allowed you to click a button and it captured a still to a designated folder.
Can you play dvd's in quicktime, cause that would do it wouldnt it? I just cant seem to get it to work.

VLC will let you take a screenshot while playing a DVD.

DVDCapture works with Apple's DVD player, and it works great.

Download VLC anyway, though, it's the best video player out there for everything that QuickTime player can't handle.
