Has anyone else had problems connecting to video chat with an AIM user on a PC with SP2 installed? My girlfriend and I were able to chat just fine before she installed SP2 but now it won't work. She says that she's disabled the firewall, but it's made no difference. Any constructive suggestions?

This has been discussed many times in other posts. This is a bug in XP, deleting it should resolve the issue.

Can you link me to one of the other threads? Before I made my original post I searched and didn't find anything with "iChat SP2," "iChat windows xp," or "iChat service pack."

Thanks.

I was, sorry about that....

I tried to check the web but couldn't find anything either.

Describe it more in detail:

Can you IM with her at all? Is it just the Video that's broken?

The other part to isolate is whether it's from your side (Mac), or her side(PC). Check to see if anyone else can Video IM her.

If it's your side, have installed any of the new OSX Security Updates in the last week?

From her side, I would contact AOL to see if there are any issues with chatting through SP2.

Again, sorry for the joke, thought you'd get it.....
