Hello all,
I've got myself a Gmail account and have been using it as a backup of all my incoming mail, by using the Redirect feature in mail.app. Any messages that come into certain accounts get sent along to gmail.
The problem is that for some reason, Gmail really hates the formatting of Rich text messages that come out of Mail.
If I get in a plain text message, it redirects and shows up fine in Gmail.
If I get a rich text message (from windows email clients it seems, primarily), it redirects and almost always shows up as a stupid attachement in Gmail, which is horrendously annoying. I did do a test and sent myself a rich text message from Mail, back into Mail, and it redirected and that one displayed nicely.
So, since I can't fix Gmail, is there a way I can just make Mail.app always convert a message to plain text before it gets sent out? That would solve these problems, I think.
Any ideas?
