iTMS - Moving from USA to UK

Hey All,
I searched around trying to find this in the forums, but it wasn't directly addressed. I'm a student from the USA who's in the UK for a year. I've bought tons of stuff off the iTMS at home, but when I got here and fired up iTunes I got a message telling me that I needed to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes. I have 4.6, so that ain't it. I figured that I'd need to download the UK version, but then I wondered if I did, if I'd wouldn't be able to play the music I bought in the USA. My credit card address is still in the US. Any suggestions?

Your music will still play when you log in with your usual account and you can still purchase from the US iTMS. It doesn't matter where you live. All that counts is the billing address of your credit card.
There aren't different iTunes versions for different countries. It's always the same. I have heard about the "you need to upgrade" problem before from UK people. It's an erroneous message from the UK store. I don't know how to fix it. Try logging in again later (and remember that the US store is still responsible for you).

The error you got about needing to upgrade seems to pop up quite a bit for us users in the UK.
I don't know what causes it, but it will just go away on it's own if you try to access the store later.
You can still get into the 'Browse' area, and from there by double clicking a Genre right back into the store.
Strange I know, but Apple Support have no answer so far.
As the previous poster said you can still shop from the US Store no problem.
