I have been dealing with this for months. And it just won't work.
I'm trying to sync my Palm device (T3). The contacts do sync, but when it comes to iCal, it just won't do it. I contacted Palm customer support, and they have given me ideas, but it still doesn't work. iSync used to sync the calendars in my iPod, but now it won't do it either. It's driving me crazy, I have a $400 Palm that I can't use for what I need the most.
I have tried reinstalling iCal, iSync, Palm desktop, Hotsync manager, I ran the permission fixer program from the palm website, updated everything, tried previous versions (the ones that I have found), I have deactivated syncing of tasks, calendars and everything else from palm desktop that may interfere, and nothing. Nothing and it's driving me nuts!!!

In summary:

Has anyone been able to isync iCal in a Palm Tungsten?

Has anyone had these sort of probems?

I hope I'm missing something here, and that it will work soon.

thanks

what error message, if any, are you getting? I ran in to trouble, where iCal simply wouldn't sync with palm or ipod. I had to not only reinstall everything, but first trash every last remnant of ical and isync before reinstalling. (that was probably overkill, most likely only one prefs file or data file was corrupt, but I couldn't tell which)

You see, that's the thing: I don't get any error messages. The iSync progress bar just disappears right after it says it has started connecting with iCal. So there aren't any clues. I guess I'll have to try what you did.
