I used to use OSEx to convert the "main feature" of a DVD into one simple large .vob file. That made life much easier. But now OSEx appears to be broken. And the only other ripping apps I can find either rip to a VIDEO_TS folder, or encode right to an MPEG format. Neither of those are very appealing to me, I really want to go back to my single, big old .vob files.

"Appears to be broken" isn't really the best description of a problem in the world.

OSEx appears to no longer be compatible with OS X Panther. So I'm basically looking for an app to replace it with. But the problem is that when you double click, It bounces once into the dock, then disappears.

from some macupdate.com user:
Troubleshooting by Ryan
: FOR ALL YOU HAVING PROBEMS WITH 0Sex NOT RUNNING!

If you 0Sex doesnt run and all you get is the icon bouncing once and nothing else, do this! It worked for me!

go to your terminal and type in this, without the quotes:
"chmod -R 775 "
(note the space after the five.) DO NOT HIT ENTER YET! Now drag you 0Sex program icon onto the terminal window and then hit return!

Now close terminal and try to run your 0SeX and it should run fine!!!

Hope it works!
