Is there any hacks or any kind of software that would let me reboot my Superdrive eMac into OS9. The combo drive models can do it!

no. there are several threads about superdrive emacs not being os9 bootable in the imac/emac forum.

afaik, no one has come up with any hack to boot any osx-boot-only macs with os 9.
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity...

Mac On Linux is working on a OS X version of their software that lets you boot a full fledged OS 9 under OS X. It's kinda like Virtual PC but without emulation.

You can also boot other copies of OS X, or Linux PPC, all in a window.
