Hi folks!

I recently tried the last version of Thunderbird (i.e. 0.8) but found
that whenever I launch the app, the disk begins to spin like crazy.
Indeed, the top command in the terminal show an entry for the
DiskManager program. When the disk finally stop spinning (after
something like a whole couple of minute!), the DiskManager entry
dissapear. I tried to quit Thunderbird before the disk stops but the
disk just goes on spinning fast for a little while.

Am I the only one stuck with this weird behaviour? Is there anybody
acquainted to TB's code willing to offer a possible explanation?

(I'm on a Ti 867 by the way...)

Looks like the prebinding going crasy. What version of the OS are you running. They should have disabled pre-binding with that release. If your problem is reprodcutable please file a bug at http://bugzilla.mozilla.org

I am running OS X 10.3.5, with the last security patches, on a Powerbook G4
"Titanium" 867 Mhz.

Indeed, this happens everytimes I launch the app. I'll file a bug report then. I was
just checking if that was a known problem. Apparently it is not.

Cheers,
