Support for dual-processors!!! Jesus Christ...this should have been put in years ago.

Hopefully dual-processor enhanced Expander 9.0 and DropStuff 9.0 will be released soon for cheapskates such as myself.

Says you can save files on an FTP server. Cool. I hope that also includes WebDAV servers.

It's too bad these changes come after Stuffit stopped mattering.

I only need to pull Stuffit out once in a blue moon for the obscure compression formats and maybe once a month because some developers are still set in their OS 9 ways and decide to distribute their apps using .sit files instead of .dmg files.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but Safari now decompresses .gzip files itself - although double clicking them in the Finder won't have them open via a daemon like disk images etc.

Did they ever fix the bug from 7.0.3 where expanding a .sit file changed the permissions of the directory it was in to "read only" for your group? That one still drives me crazy.
