I've got some footage of the Oylmpics that a friend on a pc encoded, but its in a multipart zip file. Is there any way of making it work on a mac - stuffit doesn't like it and nor does finder.

Try this in Terminal (haven't done it myself):
cd /folder/with/zips
cat *.zip > combined.zip
zip -F combined.zip
unzip combined.zip

thanks I will try that.

thing is its like a multipart .rar file - its one .zip and 20 .z01 etcs
