i am working with a woman who runs entourage 2004 on a powerbook (15" alu).
all of her email comes in twice, ie, each email appears twice in the incoming list.

i made entourage the main email program (in Mail, which she does not use);
ran disk utility, repaired permissions.

but still...dupes of all new mail.

any ideas, anyone???

Two identical accounts maybe? Or one IMAP, one POP configured? Just a guess.
In any case, set up a test email account (say at http://www.myrealbox.com ) and test whether that account also gets double emails.
