application/x-oleobject error message with Safari

I was trying to watch some Jay Leno video clips on the NBC web site. I keep getting the error message "application/x-oleobject" It say the browser does not support the MIME type. I have the current version of the Windows Media Player installed. Is there a way to watch the video clips on Safari or do I have to use a different browser. Thanks
