i installed version 9 after removing version 8.

a few things i can't figure out...

1.) how do i make it so the "magic menu" doesn't appear in the top right of finder by the battery and date icons?

2.) how do i make it so double clikcing a sitx file should open the expander, not the stuffit program.

1 - quit the magic menu (it is one of the choices), then remove it from your startup items (system preferences -> accounts -> (your account)

2 - find one of your .sit files...highlight it and choose "get info" from the finder's file menu (or use command + i)...expand the "open with" section by clicking the little arrow...from there you can chnge the app that opens the file and it will prompt you if you want to change all files like this....
