how can i use Mail to get my aol mail?

any idea, i think i currently have it set up with my MSN mail, however it always says offline


(btw-new mac user, so make things as simple as possible please)

what about with my MSN mail, it always trys to connect to database, but then it shows it is working offline

If by "MSN" you mean "Hotmail," try httpmail plugin. I've not used it, but it gets good reviews.

A little more digging turned up a report on this page that implied httpmail plugin would also work with getting MSN mail into Mail.app as, at the time, MSN accounts also used Hotmail.
