Tickershock features animated news "crawl" and "billboard" displays. Instead of sifting through an email-like interface, you just let Tickershock displays news feeds until you see one you like and double-click it. Tickershock is really configurable ("themes" control look and feel, "channels" with news feeds, etc.) and supports OPML import and PulpFiction CSS Stylesheets. If you have any comments or suggestions you can let us know here or at software@mesadynamics.com. Thanks!

I like the way it's implemented (especially the themes), but I'm not sure if I'm ready for a scrolling news reader. It turns out that I'm easily distracted, and at this point that's not a good thing. I give it a thumbs up for doing what it sets out to do and doing it well.

Wow, this is great! Just a small suggestion (maybe it's already there; couldn't find it): perhaps you could add an option to put back/forward buttons on the ticker.

Great job!

Thanks! That's a great suggestion, too I'll make a note of it.
