Print or create then print? Create 'em with photshop or photoshop elements. That's what I use for cd inserts & dvd inserts.

My printer doesn't print them out long enough on standard paper. It won't print edge to edge that is. The length needs to be 10.75in., and it won't do it. Maybe legal size will work.

Whatta you think?

Legal size paper will work. A good program for printing labels is Magic Mouse Discus. It's got a whole lot of templates, backgrounds, various tools and also templates for the Epson CD/DVD printers (R200, R300 etc).I use it extensively.
2007 iMac 24" 2.4 Core2Duo (currently 1Gig Ram), 4 FW400 hd's, 1 FW 800 HD, Brother MFC420N,, Liteon DVD-RW, Epson R320.

They'll fit on A4 paper, if that's any help. Dunno if you can get that over the pond...

(I remember once when working in Alabama, I went nuts trying to find a standard size of paper that was equivalent to A2. In the end we sent the files to a custom bureau who printed them and cut them out... it was a crazy hassle. We had a printer that could've coped with A2, too - just the paper was nowhere to be seen!)

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

Bought a pack of Memorex inserts that are A4 sized and it even comes with a free program called expressit that installs on your mac!

Got the 25 inserts and program for $14.99 at compusa...not a bad deal.

Beware. That ExpressIt program is the worst I have ever used on a Mac. I bought it, wrestled with it for two days to get it to do the simplest things, then threw it out and made a Photoshop template. Don't waste the 15 bucks.
