I'm trying to add an event that goes from August 2nd to September 30th, but on the actual calendar display, the event is displayed as continuing on to November 6th (which is the last day displayed on the "October 2004" screen. If I go on to the "November 2004 view, the event doesn't show up, however. If I play around with the ending date (making it August 30th, for example) the display will show the event ending on September 26th! This is very hard to understand. Could someone with Entourage 2004 try adding an event that spans a couple of months and see what happens?

I helped someone with a similar issue once.

The user reported that if they specified a repeating event with start and end dates such as August 3 to September 5, respectively, the start and end dates would be saved as August 1 and September 1.

The solution was to select their local Region, rather than Custom, in the System Preferences > International > Formats tab.

This appears to be a bug in Entourage as it should use whatever the user specifies in the System Preferences > International > Formats tab, even if they are custom.

HTH.
Good Luck!

I have United States selected in the formats tab. It doesn't seem to be custom.
